Twitter client using MS Access 2007
Tweeting from your favorite Application!
Wouldn’t it be cool to tweet using your favorite MS Access application. You will not have to worry about your boss passing at your back and seeing that you are browsing the internet and making tweets at tweeter. While doing your regular duties as a database programmer or analyst using MS Access as front end, you can use MS Access itself to post your tweets.
I came across a Twitter Client using an Excel 2007 application at the website of Mr. Chandoo. Building upon his work on Excel 2007, i used the knowledge gained in order to convert the Excel client into an MS Access Twitter application.
The advantage of MS Access over Excel is that you can create a table or database of all your tweets and have it sent later when you feel like sending it to Twitter. You can download the rar file here. Just unzip it.
Be sure to change the username and password in the tables to your own twitter account username and password. Also, do not forget to enable macros for it to work.
Please provide a brief description on the twitter client so I will know how to extend or revise the program. But it did worked, its a great small piece of application.
